One World, One Team is a team building event that focuses on local action with a global reach as teams work together to create, produce and pack unique 'gift boxes' for distribution to children in need - it's an event that literally changes the lives of children in developing countries around the world.
What's involved?
The imaginative team building event begins as teams launch into a number of creative team work challenges to earn fun 'spending money' for a shopping spree in the 'Shop of Dreams'. This could be anything from building a crazy vehicle from junk to more structured team building activities!
Challenges completed, the shop doors open and it's down to teams to grab a basket, snap up the bargains of the day and purchase the child-friendly items to be included in their team's gift boxes.
Shopping done, it's time to visit the checkout, pay for the goods, collect your flat-pack boxes and then build, wrap and lovingly fill them up with the goodies! And don't forget to include a your personal message!
At the end of the team building event, all the boxes are stacked in the 'distribution area' to enable teams to see just what they've achieved as a whole and the final activity involves the team being shown a short, specially prepared film highlighting what will happen to the boxes, where they will end up and how they will be making a difference to the lives of children throughout the world .
